4 1/2 months

I knew that I'd become a bad blogger once I went back to work--

I feel like we are busy all the time--doing what I don't know---but we're always on the run--

This is our most recent family photo--Brent's grandpa past away a few weeks ago and this was taken at the church---Notice Brent and Cale's shirts...matching!!! They're not identical but you'd have to look really hard to see the difference.

We try to spend as much time outside as week can--we have a swing that stays on the front porch so Cale swings a lot--he loves it because he can sit up and watch the dogs--the dogs are really good with him--one of the dogs, Hank, feels like he needs to lick Cale's feet but other than that they don't bother him.

As you can tell he's rather comfortable in his swing. I love when he doesn't have a shirt on--he's too cute!

He must have been exhausted yesterday because he fell asleep sitting up--he had just been jabbering to Brent.

Cale's is doing good sitting up in his bumbo seat--he's pretty content sitting in it playing with some toys

We began giving Cale baby food this past week-as you can tell he never wears a bib--he didn't know what to think about it when I put one on him--

We began with carrots--he was definately unsure and didn't know what to do with it when you put it in his mouth---at first he would just sit there and let it run out of his mouth--or gag. As you can tell we had carrots from ear to ear.

Update: 4 mth check up Cale is now 15 lbs and 24 inches long---he's getting very close to rolling over, but not just yet--still sleeping wonderfully--and really beginning to notice things in the room--loosing a lot of his hair, but it's still dark--he drools like a leaky faucet--he's getting stronger and able to push himself up--growing more everyday!
